Audio productions

In the name of all these artists, I thank the services of the Office National des Droits d’Auteur et des Droits Voisins for having accompanied these productions according to the rules of the art, and for allowing me to pay over my royalties to the benefit of the Sauver l’Imzad association.

It is always the desert that inspires me.

It was by chance that I found this inscription as my feet trod over scattered slag … A call was written in tifinagh: TIMTAR, which means REMEMBRANCE.

That is how the idea came to me for the Imzad group, which composed this superb album under my direction.

The first production of professional quality worthy of the Imzad repertoire.

Five audio CDs:

Imzad, Tindé, Tazamart etc… All the music and songs of the Ahaggar that I had catalogued over all these years.

The Imzad group came out of a competition held on the occasion of the international encounter of 11/11/11. Nearly a dozen groups came forward, and the members of the jury (including the late Abdallah ag Oumbadougou) named the “Amnataf” group as the winner, with Bay Dana as lead guitar. It is this group that became the Imzad group.

And that is how the IMZAD group was born.

A nomadic studio was set up at the home of the late Seddik Khetali, who placed his house at our disposal. At the time we had nothing but our will to carry the voice of the imzad as far as possible.

The first audio CDs and VCD that I produced as a volunteer on the occasion of the first international symposium in 2005.

They were offered to all the participants.
